Favorite Gift of 1989 and 2009

Pat, Nate's dad is notorious for leaving the "best for last" gift hidden behind a piece of furniture to be unveiled as the last gift. So before we even began opening presents the kids found the gift behind the couch and anxiously awaited the big unveiling. Finally, at the end of unwrapping presents Dave asked Pat if he wanted to open his treasure behind the couch. Pat had no idea what Dave was referring to. Come to find out, this gift had been left behind the couch many many years ago to finally be discovered this Christmas. It was a really horrible old 80's family frame. The most hilarious part was when DeAnn said, "Pat, you shouldn't have." We were all laughing so hard we had tears.
