Nate has an official process he goes through when wrapping up the fussy baby to be swaddled and soothed. 1st you wrap the baby up like a burrito in a light weight blanket.
My mom is a pro at this, it is an indian secret, they use to wrap up babies on a cradle board. If you child has the hiccups, it means he's cold and this is the best rememdy. Tell Nate he is a genius.
Shandy's not lying. When I went to see her in the hospital I was dying when I saw how tight the nurse was wrapping up Dexter and Shandy's dad said "that's nothing---you should see how tight Loraine can wrap a baby up!!"
when i did my L&D rotation, they taught us to wrap those kids up as tight as you can. we even called it the burrito wrap. it makes them feel comforted, like they're back in the womb. precious!

The nurses at our hospital called it the burrito wrap, too.
