Christmas with Nate's Family

Nate's family came to town for Christmas 2008. Grandpa Thomas dressed up like a conductor and helped the boys reinact "Polar Express" and watched the movie together. The boys loved it. We had fun exchanging gifts.

Pajamas on Christmas Eve

We had the Jensens and Sellers over last night and the kids opened their pajamas on Christmas Eve. As tradition, we also played the Right Left Game and opened a white elephant gift. The kids loved it.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Paint the Halls

I turned on Christmas music this morning and Deck the Halls was the first song to come on. Quinn yells, "Ah, I love this song....Paint the Halls!"

Church was cancelled today so we got our Christmas gear on and took pics. Here are a few.

Winter wonderland... in Oregon?!?!

Well, we've lived in Oregon for a little over 10 years and we have never seen anything like this. Its been snowing all day and its beautiful. I took a walk today and the streets were packed with people walking and playing in the snow. Both kids and adults were out having fun. It was really cool.

Let the Decorating Begin

Nate told me this ball of lights was blog-worthy.
Stringing lights is not his favorite job.

Decorating the Tree

Quinn the Decorator

Quinn was our super decorater. He loved the process of getting all the decorations out of the bin and putting them around the house. He put up nearly all our Christmas decorations this year. He put almost all the decorations on the Christmas.....so most of the decorations are at "Quinnie Height".
