I was tagged by Andrea Wheeler. Like me she married into the Harris family. She is so cute and fun. I love spending time with her and the other cousins.
1. What were you doing 10 years ago? I was newly married living in Utah at our "first apartment" with no A/C and a blistering hot summer.
2. What are five things on your list today? Took Quinn to the "Reading Lady", spread bark on our yard, got some quotes on car insurance, emailed, and now we're off to the gym.
3. What snacks do you enjoy? Chips and salsa, grapes, tomato salad (it has basil, balsamic dressing, mozzerella, tomatoes & cucumbers), and yogurt.
4. What would you do if you were a billionaire? Get involved in the Perpetual Education Program or other humanitarian programs, buy lots of summer homes and travel a lot....oh yes, and a maid.
5. What places have you lived in? Blackfoot, ID; Seattle, WA; Provo, UT; Salem & Tualatin, Oregon.

Mom & Dads No More

We came up to Seattle this weekend to help my parents get their house ready to sell. We decluttered and put everything on Craigslist. Mom and dad could hardly believe the flock of people that showed up. They made $1400 in 2 days. Yippee!. I think I posted over 60 items. The trick is, just get rid of the stuff, don't be stingy about the price. The people drove out to see it.........give it away if you have to. I laughed cause my dad got fussy about something I gave away. I teased him that if I hadn't put all this stuff online he would have had to load it and taken it down to Goodwill. He agreed and is so happy that his garage is more spacious.

Mom made Nate a lemon meringue pie for retiling the laundry floor and putting some trim in their family room.

We also put their house on craigslist and I made a site that perspective buyers can go to and look at the house. http://www.redmondhomereo.blogspot.com/
